Sarah Funderburke
Clinic Operations Manager
Sarah Funderburke grew up in Warner Robins, GA and graduated from Warner Robins High School. She received a B.B.A. in Management from Georgia College and State University. Sarah has been married to the love of her life for 17 wonderful years and they have three children that keep them on their toes! After staying at home with her children for 10 years she decided a job with a few hours a week could be just what she needed to get back into the workforce. Little did she know 8 hrs a week would turn into a 40 hour work week and a new career that she loves! Whether it's posting insurance payments, billing, managing accounts, payroll, or bookkeeping Ability has plenty to keep her busy. "I'm so thankful for every day I get to work at Ability and with all of the wonderful people here! I am one of the few people who can say I love where I work.

Lois Sands
Authorizations Manager
Lois joined Ability after years spent working with the state's early intervention program, Babies Can't Wait. She has extensive knowledge of family resources in the area and is a helpful friend to all who enter our office. Lois primarily works out of the Cornelia office part time, while also enjoying her retired life at home tending to her flowers and doting on her family.

Hannah Hudgins
Billing
Hannah received her undergraduate degree in Political Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Georgia. She is currently furthering her education at the University of North Georgia again where she will graduate this May 2021 with her Master’s in Public Administration. She developed a passion for helping children after interning with a child attorney/advocate during her time in undergrad. She is happy to be working towards making sure that insurance companies are covering and approving the services that kids require in order to thrive.

Emma Smith
Front Office (Gainesville)
Emma works in the front office of our Gainesville location. She graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish language and business. She currently lives in downtown Dahlonega and enjoys getting outside whenever she can, whether that means going on a hike, having a cup of coffee on the front porch, or going on a drive through the North Georgia mountains. She is excited to be a part of the Ability team and use her language skills to serve the Gainesville community

Andy Alexander
Billing
Andy landed his dream job at Ability after a series of various degrees and career paths. He holds a bachelor degrees from North Ga (Business) and Medical College of Ga (Nuclear Medicine Technology), Masters from University of the Cumberlands (Christian Studies). Andy spent 20 years in Cardiology as a nuclear tech doing myocardial perfusion scans, the moving up to practice manager. He has experience teaching in the high school students anatomy/physiology, but is finding joy in working around younger populations at Ability. He resides locally with his beautiful wife and two sons. At this stage in life, any free time he has typically revolves around their sports practices and games. He is glad to have the opportunity to serve his local community through his work as a billing manager at the Gainesville Ability branch.

Molly
Front Office (Hiawassee)
Molly works in the front office of our Hiawassee location. She grew up in Sautee Nacoochee, GA. She graduated from White County High School and attended Gwinnett Technical College. She lived in White County most of her life, until she decided to move to Hiawassee to live on Lake Chatuge in early 2022. Molly has been with her husband, Matthew, for 20 years and they have three daughters: Brelan, Mattie, and Iris. She spends most of her time sitting in gyms all across Georgia watching her girls play basketball. Molly stayed at home with her youngest for 5 years, once she started school, she decided she wanted to go back to work. Thankfully, she heard about the opportunity to work at Ability and felt relived she found something that is right up her ally and even more fulfilling being able to work with children.

Michelle Shook
Front Office
Michelle serves at the front desk in our Cornelia location. She verifies insurance, scheduling, answering questions and anything else that needs to be done. She is a life-long resident of Habersham County. Michelle comes from a long history of banking. Ability has allowed her to utilize her customer service, multitasking and management skills from her banking career. Michelle has been married to her high school sweetheart for 33 years. She and her husband are empty nesters with two grown daughters, Kelsey and Madison along with 3 year old grandson, Kershaw and fur baby, Bella. When not at Ability, Michelle loves reading, gardening and spending time with her family. Ability has been a blessing in her life, and she knows God placed her here. She sees God’s work and is blessed everyday with her coworkers, parents and the children that are part of the Ability family.

Jennifer Maney
Front Office
Jennifer works in the front office of our Clermont location where she greets patients, answers phones and helps out any way she can. She was born and raised in Hall County and still resides there now. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Mark, for almost 30 years and looks forward to the next 30! She has two adult children whom she’s crazy about! Before becoming a stay at home mom 21 years ago, she worked in the world of pediatrics and has now reentered that world at Ability! Jennifer says she is very thankful to work in a place that is such a great fit for her!
